Supported Housing Substance Recovery

Julian House is part of the Connect Wiltshire service, led by Turning Point, also in partnership with Developing Health & Independence (DHI) and The Nelson Trust.

The aim of the Connect Wiltshire service is to empower clients to develop their skills, resilience and independence, as a stepping-stone to sustained recovery and move-on to their own tenancy. We provide personalised recovery plans and various services to support your journey.

Please visit Connect’s website for further information: Connect Wiltshire | Turning Point (turning-point.co.uk)

What can you expect?

  • Supported housing in a shared house – we have 3 different properties of varying sizes and facilities.
  • A dedicated keyworker, who will spend time with you to put a plan together of what you feel you need to further recover from your addiction.
  • Support to access other agency support such as mental health, substance recovery, employment and training.

Referrals

Adults aged 25 and above can take the first step anytime by using our self-referral form (find below). We’ll kickstart your journey by planning the next steps for you. An assessment and care plan will be offered to assess your current situation and determine how we can work together to help you achieve your goals.

For children, young people & young adults up to 25 (see service referral form below) – we offer guidance, advice, and one-on-one sessions for individuals who are dealing with drug and alcohol issues. Our service is free and confidential, providing a flexible and non-judgmental space for young people to openly discuss their challenges.

The service is funded through Wiltshire Public Health.
