The Communities Activities Network offers a varied timetable of activities, drop-ins and events which promote independence, wellbeing and social inclusion.
People can join the Community Activities Network if they are moving on from hostels/supported housing, living in low support accommodation, sleeping rough or at risk of having to sleep rough. Whatever your circumstances, the Community Activities Network aims to make it as easy as possible for you to try new activities, learn new skills, socialise with peers, and access support when you need it.
Activities take place at a range of venues and community settings, at different times of day, including evenings and weekends.
The Community Activities Network is run by a small staff team employed by Julian House. They are supported by volunteers and peers, who not only help organise and run groups and events, but also take part in the activities with members – helping ease any fears or anxieties members may have about joining and meeting new people.
