Your donation this Christmas can help more people get their lives back on track.

Homelessness can happen to anyone.

It has been reported that the average person in the UK is just two and a half pay cheques away from homelessness, and three-quarters of people fear they could lose their homes if their financial situation changed.

Rough sleeping in the South West rose by 18% last year, according to government snapshot figures.

This increase is shocking – but we know that the true scale of the problem is starker still. Our outreach teams are connecting with more people every week, and our emergency shelter and supported accommodation are always oversubscribed.

The people we meet may have been dealt a no-fault eviction; recently left the armed forces; defaulted on their mortgage; or had a relationship breakdown and lost their home with it.

When you become homeless, your outlook – and your choices – change. Life can go into a downward spiral from which it feels impossible to recover. You can lose yourself.

That’s why we’re seeking your support this Christmas.

Who you are helping

At Julian House, we are dedicated to providing a lifeline for vulnerable individuals in the community. From outreach work to supported housing, domestic violence refuges, accommodation for prison leavers, and refugee resettlement, we help people reclaim their independence, stability, and sense of self.

We know that every one of our clients is unique, and they are more than a label – ‘rough sleeper’, ‘ex-offender’, ‘addict’. Often, trauma becomes their identity.
