A bike workshop established to support local homelessness charity Julian House will close its doors on Wednesday 28th February 2024 – but it’s going out with a bang, thanks to a huge closing down sale on all its refurbished bikes and 50% off new Ridgeback bikes.
Julian House bike workshop on Duke Street has provided bike servicing as well as second hand and new bikes for sale since 2014. The closing down sale is open now until the end of February and includes deals on refurbished bikes, new Ridgebacks, parts and tools.
All profits from the bike workshop support the life-changing and life-saving work of Julian House.
Julian House supports and empowers people experiencing homelessness, escaping domestic abuse, recovering from substance abuse, or rehabilitating following a prison sentence. It aims to help these vulnerable and at-risk people to live independently and securely once more.
The Trowbridge bike workshop has also supported Julian House’s charitable mission by helping people to develop skills for employment through its ‘Build a Bike’ programme. Since 2014, the bike workshop has been proud to have worked with over 700 people on the project.
Julian House social enterprise manager, Chris Quenon, says:
“We are sorry to be leaving Trowbridge, but I hope that the local community will take full advantage of our closing down sale. This is the final chance to get your hands on a brilliant used or new bike, whilst also supporting a fantastic local charity which is providing vital services to people in need.”
Julian House also runs a bike workshop on Corn Street in Bath, which continues to trade.
