The Exeter Marathon 2023

The Exeter Marathon 2023 course is ideal for those competing for the first time as well as seasoned runners looking for a fast time. The event runs along a great, traffic-free, flat route along the footpath and cycle track of the River Exe and Exeter Canal.

Set in one of the South West’s most active cities, there will be plenty of beautiful locations to admire along the course, for both runners and those coming to support you along the way.

The marathon is a perfect way to challenge yourself and inspire others, while raising vital funds to support Julian House!

5 Mile Event

Alongside the Marathon, ECCT are holding a 5-mile event. Their aim is always to encourage as many participants as is possible for our events and to cater for all abilities, this 5-mile run allows flourishing runners to take part and some younger runners.

The route will take you along the Exeter Quayside, through the scenic Riverside Valley Park and back to the finish line at Haven Banks to pick up your medal.

The race starts at 9.30am and the run welcome runners from age thirteen plus.
