Holly Bradley, a nurse at Bath’s RUH is taking on the UK’s longest paths, walking from Lands End in Cornwall to John O’Groats in the north of mainland Scotland.
Over the next 3 months she will cover just over 1000 miles, passing through some of the most stunning and remote countryside in the British Isles, while camping along the way.
‘I’ve wanted to walk Land’s End to John o’Groats for a long time, and I live and work in Bath where I can see the amazing impact of Julian House all the time. I am a nurse at the RUH emergency department so I know quite a few of the homeless community in Bath and Somerset and I know how being homeless can affect people in so many and living in Bath where Julian House has a big presence I know the good work you guys do, so I thought I would try and raise a bit of money for you as I walk!’ Holly
All the money that Holly raises as she takes on this challenge will go towards helping vulnerable people across the South West, which includes adults & young people experiencing homelessness, those escaping domestic abuse, adults with learning difficulties, people who need support after leaving prison & long-term unemployed.

With Holly’s challenge she is walking around 300 miles every month to complete this impressive journey. This is a part of our 300 Challenge where we challenge our community to take on and support Julian House by completing 300 of any activity that challenges you, makes you feel good, or helps others, in a reference to our projects and services spanning a 300-mile route.
